Moo Who? Hunter Guide — Find the Real Players
Improve as the hunter in Moo Who? by comparing sounds, reading movement, applying pressure, tracking patterns, and conserving shots.
What should a hunter do first?
Scan the widest herd before closing distance. Learn how its NPCs turn, stop, eat, and spread out. A clue only matters when it differs from normal behavior in that specific group.
Which sounds are suspicious?
Listen for consistency more than comedy. A terrible animal impression can still be hard to place if several voices overlap. Focus on a sound that changes pitch, length, volume, or timing every time it repeats.
How do you pressure a suspect?
Walk close, pause, and change your angle. Human players know they are being inspected and may turn too precisely, leave the group, or make their next sound at an unnatural moment. Do not chase immediately; a patient pause often creates the reaction.
When should you shoot?
Use a two-clue rule:
- Identify a repeatable audio or behavior difference.
- Confirm it with a second, independent signal.
- Check that a nearby NPC is not showing the same pattern.
- Fire only when the target remains the best explanation.
How do you avoid tunnel vision?
After inspecting one target, deliberately compare it with two others. If the suspect stops standing out, release the theory. Hunters lose rounds by explaining every new detail as proof of the first guess.
